Gutsy Gallen ends season with Gusto

The final event of this years Winter calendar was the Australian Cross Country Championships which were held in Dapto. Kembla Joggers hosted another amazing event and conditions couldn't have been better for racing.

The day was historic for the newly named RUN3SIX9 squad with Elese Gallen running the race of her life and winning the squads first ever Open medal (Bronze), in Cross Country. Elese has had a phenomenal year competing on the track, road and cross country. Balancing a teaching career whilst finishing her studies has not affected her running and is a shining example to any aspiring athlete that with great preparation and planning anything is possible. Well done Elese!!
